When I jack up my car or riding lawn mover, I don't have the proper safety equipment. I really need a set of these, or maybe two. They have them at Wal-Mart.
I used to keep a tire inflator in every one of our cars. I have three, but two of them have stopped working, and the third one is on its last leg. It is imporant to have a 12-volt inflator in your car at all times in case you have a slow leak in your tire, because you can pump it up enough to get to a service station. Also, if you must put on the spare, you need to be able to inflate the spare tire.
Every time I need to inflate my lawn mower tires, I get frustrated by the fact that I need to move the car and the mower close together so the cord will reach the cigarette lighter socket. I have always wanted another inflator to keep in my garage that plugs into an electric outlet with standard 120-volt house current.
Both of these kinds of tire inflators are available at Wal-Mart. Click on the picture below to see the details at walmart.com
When I bought my 2006 Toyota Tundra, it came with 18-inch custom rims that were original from the factory. However, most of these trucks come equipped with 16-inch rims. When I bought my first set of replacement tires, I learned that the 18-inch tires are VERY expensive! Over a $1,000 on sale for four! Only Michelin makes them, and they are a special order no matter where you buy them. I got them at Sam's Club, but it is a long drive there and inconvenient when I need to get them rotated.
It's almost time to buy another set of tires, and this time I think I would rather change to the 16-inch rims so they will be cheaper to replace. When I looked, there were a few sets for sale on eBay, click here to search.
After I get the replacement rims (above), I'm going to also need a set of tires. I would prefer to get them at Wal-Mart so that it will be convenient to have them rotated. Click on the picture to see a list of choices on walmart.com
